The Auto Recycling Industry Compliance: Stormwater Acute Toxicity Test Data Sheet app will track results of the toxicity of stormwater samples from the salvage yard or recycling facility. Samples from each stormwater sampling location will be tested for the toxicity to test organisms, the amount of PH in each sample, loss of oxygen, and temperature at different levels. The results of each test will be sent to the Bureau of Water Management to make sure that compliance of the stormwater pollutant levels is maintained.
The samples will be from stormwater discharge points around the salvage yard and will text for toxins related to possible water pollution, hazardous waste, or other stormwater runoff. Any violations of the general permit will need to be addressed immediately by management and any possible environmental pollutions removed.
